Data controller
The data controller is FONGIP (Fonds de Garantie des Investissements Prioritaires), co-acting with APIGA for the 2026 conference.
Legal framework
This policy complies with Law 2008-12 of January 25, 2008 on personal data protection in Senegal, and with applicable principles of the GDPR for European participants.
Data collected
- Identity: first name, last name, email, phone (optional)
- Professional: organization, job title, country, activity domain
- Logistics (optional): hotel, flight, visa support, dietary and accessibility needs
- Technical: IP address, browser, access timestamps
Purposes of processing
- Processing and validating your registration
- Sending transactional emails (acknowledgment, confirmation, reminders)
- Organizing logistics (shuttles, visa support, accommodation)
- Issuing your access QR code and badge
- Statistics (anonymized) on participation
Data retention
Your data is kept for the duration of the event and for 24 months thereafter, to allow post-event communication (declarations, replay, follow-up studies). You can request deletion at any time.
Data sharing
Your data may be shared with the Senegalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs if you requested visa support, and with partner hotels and transport providers if you provided logistics information. It is never sold or used for commercial purposes.
Your rights

Security
Your data is stored on secure infrastructure, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to the backoffice is restricted to authorized administrators, with role-based permissions and an audit log.
